EKOTANK Iran, a member of Sahel Ettehad Mfg. Co.,(SEMCO PLAST) which was founded in 1997 for the purpose to serve leading industrial/non-industrial companies with packaging and storage solutions all over Iran. Our packaging group has taken part in developing more than 50 packaging products for liquids, solids and agricultural products. In 2005, company partners have discovered huge opportunities in water and other liquids storage and carriage systems. So with an agreement with Histas Group they started to handle customers needs for these systems.
The Sahel Ettehad Mfg. Co., founding roots go back to the 1987's when Fatouraee'e family started to produce Polyethylene products for packaging of fruits and fruit juice concentrates in Iran. Adding IBC 1000L tanks, made from PE by Blow Moulding technology and serving the market with large PE tanks made SEMCOPLAST a leading manufacturer of these items in Iran and Middle East.

Combined experience in the production of PE tanks and joint with a leading firm like Histas Turkey with continuing interest in the Water and Liquid storage systems resulted in the establishing of Ekotank Iran in late 2008 to become a one of a kind providers of all storage needs in Iran and Middle East. Company started to provide bladder/pillow tanks in the beginning and ongoing innovation resulted in the creation of Apollo, Star, Mars and Pluton Series. Ekotank today manufactures water and liquid storage systems from 5 liters to 3.000.000 liters using state of the art machinery, various materials and top of the line techniques. Resources include a state of the art High Frequency welding machine park, a full steel workshop able to cut, bend, punch and rollform steel panels and a separate production facility for rotomoulded polyethylene and polyester.
